Violent crime decreased in 2024. DC was in far worse shape in the 90s and early 2000s.

More Trump Federal overreach. And incompetenly so. I'm sure there's grift involved. And extortion.

The focus has been on using military for immigration and drug law enforcement but we should keep an eye on whatever plan emerges from Trump to “clean up” D.C. more generally …
