Um, they weren't cooking the books. That's a stupid lie with no foundation, dumbass. You can't even handle elementary school finance; why are you calling other people names?

The only way anything is decided on this planet is there are people making decisions on whatever level and you know damn well if there is someone who leaves people in shock to find out that they have been allowed to continue to live in society with a glaring history of violent behavior that should leave no doubt that they are a threat to society, that decision was not made by a conservative. Those decisions are almost entirely made by the progressive left. It is a result of Democrat policies. It is just a shame that everyone, of all parties, are in danger as a result.

And exactly how do you know whether or not the any book-cooking has gone on? Are you in charge of crime stats in Washington DC? You don't know any more than anyone else. You are just more prone to believe the bullshit fed to you by the liberal media. I guess you still believe all those videos showing your boy Joe wandering around looking lost were cheapfakes? You were told they were by the same people who are now telling you everything is great in DC so I guess so.

Can you help me understand how the folks who were cooking the books and intentionally underreporting crime actually arrested more people than the current takeover has? I dont get that.

I don't think Trump is a traditional conservative. Nor do I want him to be one if it means he bends to a party's every whim. I want common sense to be the foundation of his decisions, not some sense of obligation to a party that outweighs what common sense tells you is the right thing to do.

Actually, I looked up the case on which the allegation of book-cooking is based. I read all the publicly available information about the case, including the "whistleblower's" call with the sergeant about whom she complained. All of it. And from that, I judged that the claim was bullshit because she was complaining about a single charging decision that seemed entirely reasonable. Oh, and they were downgrading thefts of less than $25 from "theft II" to a lesser offense; max of 180 days versus max of 90 days.

So, what have you looked up? What's your research? Oh.

See, here's the problem: you MAGAs assume that everyone else is like you, glued to your TV news propaganda. Some of us actually know things, and when we don't know them, we go out and learn them. I don't take anything at face value, if I can help it. I always check the primary sources.
