IMO, a piece of this inflammatory kabuki is trump's disdain for poor people. A piece is trump's fascist instinct to dominate whatever makes him feel icky. A piece is flooding the zone to distract from trump's role in Epstein's trafficking of children. A piece is the constant probing at the underbelly of free society, and the articulated plan to militarily dominate US citizens.

I think an under considered piece is the meeting with Putin. We all know trump views Putin as daddy. Right wing zealots in conjunction with Russian psyops, bribery, and extortion, have softened the once bipartisan acknowledgement that Russia is a foe and operates on a failed social and economic system. A consistent aspect of this Russian operation is to promote Moscow's clean, safe, and modern streets - regardless if that's true, or not.

Said softening is clearly represented in the white house, by a man readily willing to supplicate himself to the sociopathic mob boss running Russia. trump is the most superficial person on the planet. He wants US propaganda with respect to HIS capital to sound the same as the Russian propaganda about Moscow.
