One thing that's different about Musk is that he's on social media as much as Trump - he owns (formerly) Twitter of course - and so we could see some epic 2 AM Twitter spats between the two. I'm not sure even Dear Leader can overwhelm Musk when it comes to spewing personal bile on Twitter 24/7. Anything Trump posts will almost certainly be almost instantly responded to by Musk, and vice versa. I despise both men, so as you said watching the two of them cut each other up will at least provide some entertainment in an otherwise bleak political time. Two massive egos and narcissistic personalities were always going to fall out sooner or later. They both want to be the boss and center of attention, and only one can lead the cult.

Except that Elon isn't anywhere near the middle. Polls show that his attempts to gut the government are extremely unpopular, even among many Trumpers. It's one of the reasons why he was eventually isolated from Trump to begin with. He's really just a far-right fanatic, Social Darwinist, and likely white supremacist with a massive ego and god complex who isn't willing to share the spotlight with Dear Leader anymore. After all, his main complaint about Trump is that he doesn't want to cut government services to the extreme lengths that Elon does, which given how much is already being gutted is really saying something. They're both loathsome turds, period.

I posted this on the funnies/good vibes thread back in mid February to a resounding thud. Thought it might be the first of a series. The board found it neither funny nor good vibe-ish. I liked the concept. The execution was a bit meh. Regardless, unintentionally prescient.

Yall know how this is going to play out. Trump and Elon will make up. Elon will come out and say he was just mad and Trump isn’t really on the Epstein files.Then the board MAGA fucks will show up saying they knew King Donald was innocent. Suck it Libs!
