Find ever new ways to to attack those who disagree with you with “ists”, “ots”, and “phobics”. The "elites" he says now proven guilty of pedophilia and sexual assault (Epstein and Diddy) is NOT the MAGA Qanon conspiracy theory. No, that was ridiculous claims that elites within the Dem party were running Pedo rings. I don't think Epstein and Diddy (who were Trump fanboys) was the MAGA conspiracy.

Yes, Ukraine was very corrupt - when Putin had his puppet surrogate forced on the people, who stole from citizens and funneled it back to Putin. He was overthrown by actual Ukrainians. The guy was a Putin pawn just like Trump, Manafort, and Flynn. Pawns that were rewarded greatly by Czar Vlad.

Damn, krafty, you're certainly not the poster I remember from 6 or 7 years ago.

I appreciate what it took to look at yourself and challenge what you believe. I did similarly a long ,long time ago with religion and appreciate how much you have to reexamine so many things. For me, at least, it made me value what I kept more than when I took them for granted.

Even if you, and the several others here like you, never take another sip of the flavor aid, welcome to the land of reason.

So sue me. Sometimes I like hyperbole.

I don't think you're having a good faith argument here.

Nobody is for "open borders," so if you want to do something other than parrot falsehoods that have proven effective in republican messaging focus groups, you'll need to at least attempt to deal with/describe actual reality.

Also, I don't know that anyone ran on transgender rights, or undermining parents. It was/is much more important to liberals like myself to run on using tax money to help people out, rather than prioritizing the pocketbooks of the super-rich.

"Arrogance and condescension" is a sword that cuts both ways, and conservatives are just as guilty of it as democrats. Voters in this country are pretty much an even split 35/35, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to talk about what "the voters" want.
 
Matt Gaetz as AG and Tulsi Gabbard as DNI. Hooo boy. With regard to Gabbard, Putin couldn’t have asked for a better DNI if he hand selected that person himself.

And if he gets confirmed (huge if, IMO - he has few friends among establishment Republicans) he will do the job of AG so loudly and cartoonishly poorly that it will help turn people against Trump.

His qualification is genuflection and likely a personal commitment to focus his energy on persecuting whomever ttump demands to be persecuted. If I’m the Clintons, Fauci, Jack Smith, (insert boogeyman), I’m leaving the country, post haste. Hell, if I’m a high profile university administrator, faculty, or journalist, with a history of criticizing the regime, I have a thorough exit plan awaiting initiation.

It is one thing to prosecute those people and another thing entirely to get a conviction. Gaetz trying to persecute the Clintons, Bidens, and Fauci on trumped-up charges (no pun intended) will be a massive strategic error, IMO. Trumpism does not have nearly the ideological mandate it thinks it does and that stuff will turn off everyone. You can't run on ending lawfare then just openly do 5x more lawfare than ever before. His MAGA base will love it but everyone else will hate it.
