If you were evangelical, isn’t there some small part of you that would hear that and think, wait. Is he the antichrist?

According to Peter Thiel, who somewhere along the line decided he was an "orthodox Christian," the antichrist is Greta Thunberg.
Yeah I saw that. He seemed pretty disillusioned with Trump in the Douthat interview, but regardless that man is crazycakes.

I was listening to The Daily this morning and they played some clips of Trump speaking in his first term. I was shocked. As bad as that term was, he was so much more lucid and coherent then than he is now. When he's constantly speaking every single day, it's easy not to notice the extent and pace of his deterioration.

I noticed it last year when he was campaigning. I thought he was going to collapse at one of his rallies because he was always so low energy.

It might be worth mentioning how often he simply is repeating the same things over and over and over. Stolen election. Biden. Immigrants. Trans for everyone. Democrats are evil.

No matter where in the world he is speaking there seems to be some combination of these grievances.(and some others that I’m not remembering at the moment)

That is what I have been saying when comparing him to Biden. Biden attempted to say really meaningful things while Trump just lists the same grievances over and over. If you are suffering some mental decline, I would think the latter would be a lot easier to do.

Trump's mental decline dwarf's that of President Biden, in my humble opinion. His lifelong stuttering problem skewed the public perception of his decline.

That said, the major difference between the two presidents is that Biden had astute, experienced, and competent advisors that he could rely upon to make sound decisions in the best interest of our country and in alliance with our allies around the world. Trump in his cognitive decline has no advisors that he actually relies upon who are astute, experienced, or competent to make decisions in the best interest of our country or in alliance with our allies around the world.

It's absolutely insane to me that evangelicals weened on A Thief in the Night are willing to support a gay billionaire who infuses himself with the blood of young people and wants to bring a computer god to pass. Do these people have no shame?

You mean the advisors who:

Caved to immigration groups who advocated for an open border;
Thought spending an additional 2.5T in "stimulus" the year after the COVID spending in 2020 would be a great idea and wouldn't be inflationary;
Then, repeatedly telling the public that inflation was "transitory" and the border was "secure";
Advised him that running for re election in 2024 (given his mental and physical decline) was a sound idea;
Thought challenging Trump to a debate in June (and putting out that video taunting Trump) was a savvy political move;

When his military advisors strongly not withdrawing US forces on 9/11 (during fighting season) and not abandoning Bagram air force base - HE IGNORED THEM.
