I had some concern about Biden last year but was comforted that he was relying upon his very competent staff to advise him in making important decisions both domestic and in foreign policy.

Having conducted hundreds of mental status exams in my career, and I can tell you with confidence that Trump's cognitive decline is worse than Biden's.

The difference is that Trump's advisors are incompetent ass kissers. The country should be alarmed, and the media should do their fucking job and inform the public.

Nobody gets MRI's as a routine exam. Not even and especially Trumpf given his physical decline and diminished mental capacity. With luck, nature puts him out to pasture RSN.
The White House described it as a routine yearly physical exam ( even though he had his yearly physical exam in April ), and yes you are quite correct that an MRI is not part of a routine physical exam.

What did the MRI reveal ? I fear we will never know😦

What may be involved in a physical I receive as a codger isn’t the same as what the president will receive. You are correct that mris aren’t standard but I suspect an 80 year old president would get one for the most meager of curiosities.

I beg to differ...

Trump had his routine annual physical exam in April and there was no MRI so ,if you say that old codgers like Trump would have gotten an MRI, why did he not in April ?

Having a "routine physical " 6 months later with an MRI suggests the doctors were not just indulging their meager curiosities.

Maybe. I just suspect medical monitoring for the rich and powerful is unlike anything we riff raff understand.

The MRI thing is a little interesting because one of the segments on the last 60 Minutes was about a "longevity doctor" who included in his protocols or whatever having his patients get an MRI. I don't know if that was an annual thing or to establish a baseline or what, and he mentioned that his patients needed to be willing to deal with whatever it turned up.

I don't think this is the same thing going on with the Dictator in Chief because there are too many other procedures etc. But, having an MRI when no specific condition is suspected is not unheard of.

"He also undergoes, and encourages his patients to get, more costly full-body MRI scans as a regular, preventative measure, noting that early detection makes it easier to treat a tumor and improve the odds of success. But he cautions patients that there is a flip side."
