Its a good question. Not sure what the answer to that would be other than the potential care issues it would present for him personally in keeping it clean. I have had a picc line and it fucking sucks.

As an older person I have frequent bruises and even broken skin on top of forearms and hands due to years of sun damage. So says my dermatologist. My skin in those areas is very thin. I carry bandaids in my wallet.
