As an older person I have frequent bruises and even broken skin on top of forearms and hands due to years of sun damage. So says my dermatologist. My skin in those areas is very thin. I carry bandaids in my wallet.
I get that a lot ,too. Sun and the brittleness that comes with age. Scrapes that might would have left a brief red mark end up bruised and bleeding.

Because that would be obvious to the public and press. No hiding
The port for my chemo was barely a bulge under my T shirt. It's not like people look at Trump in a manner where his actual physical appearance is critiqued to that degree.

I hear you. I sleep with a CPAP machine. Up until very recently, before going to sleep, I always used a nasal strip to help me breathe through my nose (rather than my mouth) while sleeping. But recently, it seems like every time I peeled the nasal strip off in the morning, I took a bit of skin off my nose. Well darn! No more nasal strips for me until next summer when the humidity rises.

Under your t-Shirt is not visible to anyone. If they are forced to use his hand, that is very obvious to anyone. That was my point.

I don't know the medicines involved and I know I've had some number of IVs in my hand. Is it essential that it be in the hand? I guess that makes my question twofold. Does it have to be in the hand or do they not really care about disguising it?

There is a doctor on tick tok who swears Trump is taking Leqembi for Alzheimers and that is the reason he's getting regular MRI's. He also doesn't think Trump has very long.

Dermatologist suggested that I wear forearm protectors when working in yard. Would be a pain in the rear. But hey... at my age I'm happy not to be leaking embalming fluid.
