Trump’s Health Thread

I was having trouble sleeping last night but was kind of nodding off. For some reason, one of my thoughts was wanting to poll this place and see how many people think Trump will actually die before he leaves office. And to really look inward and not let your "hope" or bias get in the way of answering. Having some of the best medical care in the world around him 24/7 just makes me think it's going to be after 2028.

I doubt he dies in office because that wouldn't jibe with this worst, dumbest timeline that we seem to be on.

I hope he lives out his term.

Now, if his Cabinet had to 25th him (they won’t do so), that would be beautiful.

I don’t want to see a MAGAt Trump State Funeral. I don’t want to see the performative grieving widow that is Melania. I don’t want to see the “grieving” Trumpkids extolling the Orange turd.

He’ll get his former POTUS funeral. Hopefully, all living former Presidents and First Ladies will pass on attending.

Trump or Vance? One’s better than the other?

AI says a 79 year old male has a 15%-20% chance of dying in 2.5 years. I'd guess President has more stress and more likelihood of being assassinated than average male, but offset against much better healthcare. So I'd give him an 80% chance of making it through his term.

Yeah, one thing I hope doesn't happen with him is that his presidential predecessors and successors treat him as just another POTUS and thus normalize his behavior and actions as president - that would set a terrible precedent for the future, I think. My fear is that Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and Biden (if they're still living when Trump passes) will still turn out for his funeral and leading Democrats will issue the usual tributes instead of just staying away and not really discussing it. He needs to be treated for what he is, which is a nightmarish departure from the political and presidential norm that does not need to be repeated or normalized.
