No question that private insurance generated high costs, poor outcomes, dropped coveraged, cropped treatments, depite physician's orders. We fought BCBS for over a year and a half tryoing to continue a treatment that was working. Private insurance in the US costs 2X coverage in Europe. We don't live as long and suffer from far more chnonic disease.

We can make consolidate Medicare/Medicaid/ACA that includes a more than competitive Public Option that would challenge and outperform private insurance for those under 65. I'm conducting a mental exercise to promote a better solution that would save $$, maximize health benefits, provide tiers of choice, good value.

Today, the Instuance companies are the "DEATH PANELS."

Its been said that if the GOP passes this, that it will be good for Democrats. However, Trump would be much diminished if it fails..........and he knows it. A diminished Trump would be just as good for Democrats. Can't call that a win/win situation. Because if it passes, too many folks will get hurt.
