I actually think the pressure is starting to get to Johnson and GOP Senate leaders as well. I don't think they believed that Congressional Democrats could, or would, hold out this long - they thought they'd fold early on. And part of their problem is that they've shown Democrats that none of them can be trusted, so Democrats aren't willing to pass the budget on the worthless promises from Trump & other GOP leaders that they will "consider" paying for the Obamacare subsidies after the budget is passed. Why should anyone trust Republicans anywhere at this point - they're all proven serial liars.
