My guy, almost 100% of the interactions between you and I are because you quote respond to posts of mine. Almost 0% of our interactions are because I interact with you first. Yes, you are following me around, begging for conflict. I'm flattered. I literally could not possibly care any less about you if I had a gun to my head.

Go back and read whatever insane fuckery you spewed at me around midnight last night and tell me with a straight face that you were engaging in a civil and serious manner. Go read that and tell me how in the world I am supposed to respond to someone who sounds like they doused themselves in gasoline and lit the match like some Buddhist monk in Vietnam. You're a liar, and not very good at it either. You are angry, and becoming increasingly unhinged. You engage with exactly zero people on this board with any civility and seriousness. Not one single person.

You have a very bizarre obsession with me that I don't understand. You literally have no idea what my mindset has been since the election. I've got a million things I am involved in and care about right now that are occupying real estate in my brain, but the outcome of an election ain't one of them. Do I hate Trump? Hell yeah. Is Trump negatively impacting me personally on a day-to-day basis? Not even close. I like to come to this board because I like to talk politics as a hobby. But you keep referencing it like you are desperate to hope that I am mad or pissed off or melting down or whatever, because that's what you want me to do, and it seems to eat at you that I'm....just not mad. I haven't changed the way I've posted on this board for years. You are the one who everyone can see is becoming a raging maniacal asshole. Literally everything with you is pure projection.

Grow the fuck up. You are about as immature as you are unintelligent and dishonest. It's a really nasty combination. If you want me to engage with you in a civil manner, the onus is on you, not on me. I don't ever go out of my way to engage with you, and I'm not ever going to go out of my way to engage you. If you crave my attention or want some sort of response from me of any substance, you better figure out a different way to talk to me. Otherwise, fuck off. Sound good?
You’re better off not responding to him. He wants you to respond.

I’m not saying that Trump is Hitler or that he is set to exterminate a set of people (though I wouldn’t want to be trans or a Palestinian right now) but the parallels of Trumps rise and Hitler 1920-30s Germany is pretty uncanny
Trump is Neville Chamberlain with some Benito Mussolini mixed in……

Zelensky wake up you can’t negotiate with terrorists.
Mostly correct, but he has to try. Few , if any, heads of state are more between a rock and hard place than Zelenskyy. The eu is more right wing than decades past, isn’t as wealthy as the US, and has very real energy access concerns. The us is run by white christonationalists and tech-theocrats, with one group siding with Putin culturally and the other group siding with Putin financially.

The man has no good options.

Ukraine rejects Trump request for half its rare mineral wealth

The offer and Ukraine’s consideration of it rippled through European diplomatic circles not only for its audacity but because the war-ravaged country appeared to be seriously considering how to reach a deal.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected a Trump administration request this week that Kyiv hand over 50 percent of its rare-earth mineral resources in exchange for continued U.S. assistance to the war-struck country. Ukrainian officials are working on a counterproposal that would still offer Washington more access to the country’s natural resources, four people familiar with the discussions said.

The request came when Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent visited Kyiv on Wednesday, becoming the first Trump Cabinet official to meet the Ukrainian leader, according to one senior Ukrainian official, a European diplomat and a third person familiar with the situation. They and others spoke on the condition of anonymity to talk frankly about the sensitive issue.
The offer and Ukraine’s consideration of it rippled through European diplomatic circles not only for its audacity but also because the war-ravaged country appeared to be seriously considering how to reach a deal in the hope of a commitment from the United States to help defend against Russia’s aggression.

Ukraine’s rare-earth mineral resources could be worth trillions of U.S. dollars, with rising demand in electronics, defense systems, drones, and the clean-energy and automotive industries, among others. They are difficult to extract at scale, and while Ukraine has some reserves, it does not mine them at the moment. China currently produces the vast majority of rare-earth minerals.

Continued:
A second senior Ukrainian official said that Kyiv received the proposed U.S. mineral deal just four hours before Bessent met with Zelensky in Kyiv on Wednesday. In that meeting, the treasury secretary “insisted” that Zelensky sign it immediately, the official said. Zelensky did not, two of the other officials said.

The Ukrainians continued to discuss the proposal on Friday, when Zelensky met with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Munich. Ukraine has told the Trump administration that it cannot legally sign away its mineral resources in the way proposed by Washington, but Ukrainians have continued to discuss alternatives, two Ukrainian officials said.

“Ukraine has value. Literally has value,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) said Saturday in Munich at an event sponsored by Politico.
“Trump now sees Ukraine differently,” he said. “These people are sitting on literally a gold mine … I showed him a map.”
If the United States is granted Ukraine’s mineral wealth, Graham said, “we will have something to defend. We will have an economic interest in Ukraine we’ve never had. And that’s a nightmare for Putin.”
