No, tonight's twin is actually the real ace. Projected top 10 in the draft. But his brother certainly outperformed him this weekend.

I get it. Have been watching the Heels, when not live, on cable for a long time. Have never encountered it like this. If they move it to ACCN or SECN, fine. But to move to a channel that is subscription only, that’s messed up.

Yes, it would have been nice if ESPN treated this game as an ACCN-Extra game and just made it available for free on the streaming app like they do for our FCS football games.

The problem is that ESPN is greedy and they won't make the games available for free to stream (unlike TBS, which does allow free streaming of the NCAA tournament games). They use the baseball tournament as one of the big lures for ESPN+.

It could be worse. We could be the Big12. They have football and basketball games on ESPN+ all the time.

It isn’t the free or pay part. It’s the last minute part. Say upfront that if this game is delayed it will be on ESPN+. That way people don’t have to scramble to subscribe. We have been properly forewarned.

LHP are my three least favorite letters before a pitcher name this year. Hopefully, we have worked through our lefty funk and get to double digits against these guys.

That’s why I posted above that during tournament season, I’d pay the money for a month of ESPN+ in advance. You just can’t rely on getting a free broadcast of a UNC tournament game due to weather. This isn’t the first time ESPN has done this to us and they do it to other teams all the time.

“You can’t rely on getting a free broadcast…”. It isn’t the pay or free issue. It’s the timing. But I’ve never had this happen so lesson learned. Will make a note to subscribe to ESPN + or whatever they call it in the future. Just stream it for all teams. It’s BS some teams in a tourney are regular programming but others are on a subscription channel. </vent> 😀

There are 32 games every day for the first two days. At one point today, there were 16 games live at the same time. There are only six possible ESPN channels. Math says that a bunch of games are not going to be on an ESPN channel.

Same during the regular season but they are able to stream games 🤔
 
Headed to the 7th inning stretch, it’s 10-3 after the Heels gave up one run in T7.

B7, Sooners bringing in a new pitcher, Beau Sampson…..thrown 9 1/3 innings this year. LHP.
