Could have used some of the offense from yesterday. Heels lose 4-2 with only 4 hits. 2 of the 4 hits were HR’s from Gallaher and Bass.

It was a weird game. With a little luck, Pitt could have probably run ruled us. With a little luck, we could have squeaked out a narrow win.

So I guess a 4-2 loss for us is about fitting.

Yep, think it was the 5th or 6th they had bases loaded and no outs but only plated 2. Heels only scoring with the long ball this series.

Have weekday games but have next weekend off. Then the following weekend host the current ACC leader lol@state and end the season in Tallahassee against second place FSU. Then the ACCT. Important stretch!

Those last two series against NC State and Florida State are massive. Win one, and we're locked in as Regional hosts at worst. Win both, and we're most likely hosting Super Regionals, too.

I’d happily sweep ncsulol just to sweep the schmucks and get swept by FSU.

Yes. I hate ncsulol that much.

Miami, State and UNC have all had very good Aprils.

If you want to go to Omaha-you stay in CH for the regional ,supers-Looking good right now

The odds of winning both series is incredibly low. We should have a packed house for the State series (it is graduation weekend) and we usually play well against State at the Bosh, but they are No. 1 in the ACC. And at FSU is an extremely tough series. They had our number in Omaha last year and they are very tough in Tally.

I'd peg the odds of winning both series at around 10%-15%.

I’m not saying winning both will be easy.

It’ll be hard as hell.

I’m just saying that to be certain of hosting the Supers, UNC needs to win the two series.

Lose both series and are we hosting the Regionals?
