Georgia Tech has the most comically stupid coaching staff I have ever seen in managing a pitching staff. Yesterday they didnt make a trip to the mound until it was 5-0 and today literally everyone in the stands said "pitching change" before Hull hit the grand slam.

I would have used him for the one out to finish the 5th and then turned it over to someone else with clear bases in the 6th to save Walker for tomorrow. Once he got into trouble and they committed to him fixing his own mess, they burned him for the weekend and now will hope he chews up the rest of the game I suppose.

A sweep would be fantastic, but I am impressed with how we have already kicked their ass and winning the series. It is one step closer to hosting a super regional. We are not there yet, but if we continue the course we are on we will get there.

Oh, I would say we are there barring some complete collapse. We would have to lose something like 7 or 8 of our remaining 10 ACC games to not be a top 8 seed at this point. As of right now, it is pretty much UCLA, Carolina, Texas, GT, a LOOOOOONG drop-off to any other team. The battle for 5-8 is hot and heavy. The first 4 are locks.

It looks like we have 16 games remaining and 7 games are away vs dook**x3, UNC-W, and ncstate x 3 and I don't see us losing the series vs. dook**, pitt. and ncst so yes I can see we are a lock. My bad
