Yesterday sucked. Baseball is certainly a game where you can generally outplay your opponent and still lose, but yesterday felt like a really frustrating example of it.
Gave up 4 runs the first 2 games and none of them earned. With that said, it was more a bats problem the first 2 games. They got the bat on the ball but nothing really past the infield it seemed. Exorcized game 1 and 2 demons today 😀

I will repeat my skepticism about this team. We have a top 4 resume and the kids should be rewarded for that with an appropriate seed. We do not seem to me, however, to be anywhere close to a top 10 or 15 team on most given days. Offensively we just have no answers consistently.

"Consistently" being the key. And you need to be consistent to win in June. Getting one run against dook in Game 2 and 22 runs in game 3 is not consistent.

That said, this game almost seemed like a giveaway. Don't think Forbes wanted to give Coastal a sneak peek at our starters.

I’m with you, almost as worried about our bullpen depth as the bats especially if the Glauber move is permanent
