Oh okay. I read that thread too. I don’t think there’s an ounce of truth to it.

Think of how many bigs we’ve gone after so far in the portal. One? You’d think CMM would be putting a blitz on for any bigs the second Henri told him which way he was leaning.
 
I read an article the title was something about UNC getting good news. There was i picture of Vesser, so I clicked thinking he announced he is staying.

The damn article was about Stevenson.

I saw the same article. Internet clickbait is worse than ever, and less credible or trustworthy than ever. I suspect that AI has a good deal to do with it.

I've seen multiple facebook "fan" pages for movies or classic tv series or nostalgia ("We love the 80s!") over the past few months (AI created, I suspect) where it is solemnly announced that a celebrity has just died, when in fact they passed away many years ago. And people will pop up with sad emojis and condolences until others point out that so-and-so died over ten years ago. That type of stuff is just rampant on facebook and other social media now.

And for sports on facebook and other social media there are now multiple UNC basketball fan pages that I've never seen before which constantly either announce inaccurate UNC sports news or, as in this case, claim there's been a "major transfer/recruitment" with UNC basketball and it's either wrong or the news is not what the headline implies. It's all obviously clickbait, and all very annoying.

Anyway, back to transfer portal news.

Still kinda indifferent on this dude Brown. I guess he would be a positive addition

At some point perfect fit matters less than accumulating talent when filling out a full roster

Remember when those who played for Dean Smith went to class and graduated ? and players like MJ , Vince Carter, James Worthy, and Antawn Jamison left early but came back to UNC to get their degree ? And Vince even skipped his NBA playoff game to participate in the graduation ceremony ? and Jerry Stackhouse returned to get his degree and participate in the graduation ceremony along side Jamison ?

and Justin Jackson returned to get his degree after leaving early ?

Not getting a big that one portal season has to be considered "under performing". I think the comment was directed at that and asks: "was that all on Hubert, or...""
