I just hope we don't give Donovan a 5 year 50 million contract.
I'm guessing building the new Dome would cost a hundred million to be built 100 yards from the current Dome ?

It will be interesting to see if this money well spent like the money we spent on Uncle Bill.

theel4life says it isn't Donovan and seems to indicate we have someone but can't go public because they're still in the tournament, meaning May or Lloyd. I'm assuming Lloyd.

I guess we'll find out who has better sources.

I said it a couple of months ago that the inside word involved 2 things:
Hubert would be fired and they won’t renovate, but build new.
#1 has happened. The other shoe will fall soon enough.

Nah that’s off the table until probably next year. Gonna let the new coach get settled then move on to that aspect of it.

The most interesting thing to me about my post was it would imply The Big Dogs told the Chancellor no to Carolina North Arena

So they were all conceived during or around March Madness?
 
Really like Hubert as an individual, former player and an assistant coach, but being the Head guy is tough. And most of the time it takes some tough words, and actions. I don't like any Hurley... but UCONN coach gets up in the player's grill. Sometimes some choice 4-letter words are appropriate. I never cussed at players in 25 years of coaching. And I totally love Dean, Roy and even Hubert for not doing that or condoning it. But I've been around a couple of State Championship head coaches and they would cuss at practice or in the locker room at halftime. However at the end of the day, it's hard to argue with 3 FF in four years with 2 natty's and a real chance at a third.

If we're going away from family with the next hire, a firebrand would definitely shake things up. I say this as someone who absolutely despises K and Knight - who we all know cussed like sailors. But, they won multiple natty's - just like *spit* Hurley *cough*.
