Flashback

Had no idea there had been a bunk room but I loved the old field house.

So since HE was the one that got the alums to commit the NIL money, that ought to mean he SHOULD get all the credit which you seemingly didn't want to give him in your post.
Sure. Congrats to Coach Belichick and the nil money that he got the fan base to commit if he is able to move Carolina to a favorite in the ACC and a contender at the national level.

read something about this earlier today.

apparently tom brady called bill about the raiders job and he said thanks but no thanks. that $10 million buyout means he's ours for at least a season.
I don't think a $10 million buyout would keep an NFL team from getting the coach they wanted. The upside to the NFL rumors is it puts down the talk about how BB didn't have any other options because the NFL didn't want him anymore.

The buy-out changes to $1 million in June.

$10 million is pocket change NFL teams when it comes to a buy-out.

Overall I am all in to see what happens with the Belichick experiment. Why not? It’ll be interesting to see play out if nothing else, and I actually like his approach so far for the most part.

I have to say though, I’m really not a fan of Lombardi as the GM. He’s a guest from time to time on the Bill Simmons podcast and has always struck me as a blowhard. Has no experience in college and hasn’t had a job with a football team at all in like 8 years. I’m also disappointed that Kitchens will be the OC.

Just needed to vent lol I would get downvoted to oblivion on IC for saying those things.
