So we have 8 minutes to get the game tied before the half. It may be time to move the discussion to the “Halloween Movie” thread if not!
 
This is what I don’t understand? June and the backs have been holding their own but it’s like they quit dancing with who brung them? OC seems to think that they are somehow better with their air game when the ground is working?

Yes the frick it is. The coach picks the players. That’s the most important part of the job. If we have a team full of sloppy players that turn the ball over all of the time, then that is absolutely on Belichick.

So our players are all one stars? Because HS players who can’t hold onto to the ball don’t make D1 rosters. If you need to hire a guy to drive a truck for your company, and you pick a guy who has been driving for years and has never had so much as a red light ticket, it isn’t your fault if he decides to do meth one day and takes out a family of five.
 
We are a fucking embarrassment.

We are losing at half to a team starting a walk-on Lacrosse player at QB and who has 1 (one) completed pass in, this, the Year of Our Lord, 2025.

Good grief, how are we this damn bad?

We’re a combined 9 inches away from being 4-3 and are a fumble away from being in the lead here at halftime.
 
At least hearing the latest from LSU at the half makes me feel a little better about our program.

Well, not "better", really, but a bit of comfort realizing we're not alone being a complete clown show.

if it happens once, you could call it a blip of an execution issue. if it happens multiple times in a row, how is it anything other than a coaching issue? doesn't help that they keep running new ballcarriers out there for no discernible reason who don't have live reps and are getting hit by college athletes for the first time.
 
Two or three years ago Iowa won a game 7-3 without scoring a TD. It was the first time in NCAA history that a team finished a game with a final score of 7 without scoring a TD. Maybe something similar will happen tonight for the Heels.
