I don't know which category it puts me in, but I think this has gone terribly badly and I'm not sure I have much hope for the future unless Belichick is willing to make significant changes to the staff after this season. I hope that he and Lombardi learned a lot about how the portal works last year and can apply it this year, but again I won't believe it until I see it.
But as bad as this year has gone, I don't think Belichick nor any coach he wants to remain will be gone after this year. The folks with the power to make a chance aren't going to admit they fucked up and the cost of moving on after this year is really quite high (per Carolina standards). Unless Belichick has decided he's too embarrassed to stay and would rather be anywhere else, I fully expect him back next year. Heck, I'd put it at better than 50/50 that he'll be back for year 3 unless he wants to leave or next year is a nearly winless year. I just don't see the PTB at Carolina admitting they made a mistake and will only move on if/when they can spin it that it's not because of poor performance.
