I've posted this before and I don't think it's a surprise to anyone who follows UNC football, but Mack generally runs a soft program, imo. I get the impression that there is not much accountability for players not doing what they should in terms of on-field performance, and since he returned (especially starting with the second season of Mack 2.0) there seems to be more emphasis on hype than on team improvement in play as the season progresses. Many other teams show steady improvement throughout a season, while ours (especially on defense and special teams) seem to make the same mistakes over and over throughout a season with barely a sign of improvement. And that's on the coaching staff, including the head coach, imo.
