I expect copious notes from those of you able to attend! :)

Wish they'd stream it through goheels.com or somewhere. But that might cost the department/team/players money with the $150 charge for the reserved seat and autograph.

UNC already beat Bill Self. Won a championship. He returned the favor a couple of times, though.

We beat him when he coached Tulsa — I was at that game in Austin in 2000. Advanced to an improbable Final Four berth.

Some fun Bill Self-related facts:
When Bill Self took the Tulsa job, he replaced Steve Robinson, who had been a Roy Williams assistant at Kansas prior to becoming the Tulsa head coach. When Bill Self took the Kansas job, he replaced Roy Williams, who had Steve Robinson on his staff.

When Bill Self left Tulsa for Illinois, he was replaced by Buzz Peterson, a UNC alum from the Asheville area. When Bill Self left Illinois for Kansas, he replaced Roy Williams, a UNC alum from the Asheville area.

As mentioned above, when Bill Self took the Tulsa job, he replaced a former Roy Williams assistant at Kansas (Steve Robinson). When Self’s successor at Tulsa, Buzz Peterson left Tulsa for Tennessee, he replaced a former Roy Williams assistant at Kansas (Jerry Green).

Sad to say I'm done with the gridiron Heels. Wll watch the concert and tailgate until time to head to the Dean Dome. I'm excited to see the team HD has pieced together.

Regarding those Tuesday/Wednesday slots in the schedule released a couple of weeks ago, the conference revealed the following earlier today:

Tuesday, December 30 vs. Florida State (Chapel Hill)

Wednesday, January 14 at Stanford

Wednesday, January 21 vs. Notre Dame (Chapel Hill)

Tuesday, February 10 at Miami

Tuesday, February 17 at NC State

Tuesday, March 3 vs. Clemson (Chapel Hill)

I watched his long interview he seems like a great kid who's really working on his game. I thought he was taller than 6'7 though

He is. 6/7 is a Gen Z thing this summer. Not his real height.
I’m aware of the 6/7 thing as my kids say it ALL THE TIME, but in the context that Caleb said it, he seemed to actually be referring to his height. But maybe that was the joke? (And I do see he is listed as 6’10.)

Yes. That was the joke. Olds aren’t supposed to get it.
