Don’t know what we can do about our bigs. Washington has the most tools with his height and what I have at least seen in the past with his offensive skillset. Though he’s struggled offensively thus far this season. And he just plays soft in general.

Withers is a head scratcher. You never know what he is going to do, and it doesn’t seem like he does either.

Lubin plays hard but is undersized and his offensive skillset seems somewhat limited. But if he were 7’, I think he’d be a beast. Alas, he’s not.

Claude plays hard but he’s very limited in what he can do and seems pretty slow.

Haven’t seen enough of Brown to make any judgment other than thinking he has a ways to go.

Going to be difficult to make the Tourney this season with the ACC sooo weak.

Got outbid for the all of the top ones.
Yep. I am.of the mind that if you don't support UNC financially, attending games, rams club, NIl, then just STFU. Rev sharing will fix it mostly but we are seeing what a crappy nil program does. The acc is awful so we will get some wins but I would be amazed if we make past first weekend in ncaa

Strength of schedule.

I also think this team could still be good and finish well.
Yeah, but that isn't going to matter if they don't have any signature wins and if they lose a couple of ACC games against unranked teams. Dayton is there best win and could end up being their best if they don't get things together.

Yeah this ass kicking may be a good thing. Maybe the powers that be will see they may have to change things up. Lack of fortball success equals lack of basketball success.
I'm pretty sure Sherrell mentioned that UNC is making NIL offers on par with other top programs, saying NIL is not an issue...or at least wasn't last summer.

Does strength of schedule matter if you don’t win any of the tough games? Any loss in the weak ACC will be magnified. We better hope we win 16+ in conference.
It still matters.

Unlike most fans I’m inclined to look for the upside. I think some good basketball is going to come from this bunch.

If that is true than we are in even more trouble than it appears now. If we are offering big money and still not getting the players we want you have to ask why aren’t the players coming here?

If NIL really is the problem then, how will revenue shares help? UNC is not the only university that will get that money. In fact, won't everyone who opts in get that revenue, in essence just raising the baseline of every program? Those spending more on NIL deals will continue to spend more than UNC.

If this season plays out as it appears to be then Davis is going to be under fire by the end of the year. I don't think he's on the hot seat yet and I've always been a big supporter since he was hired, and he's had two very good seasons out of his three full seasons as a coach so far, but if this season continues on this path then people's patience will start wearing thin. And I'm not sure that it's entirely justified, but for our program having two seasons out of the last three where we miss the tournament, or at least spend a good deal of time outside the Top 20, is not a good look.
