The Maryland pep band is head and shoulders better than ours and it’s pissing me off. Why can’t we ever seem to get “band’ right?

Re: the band, they have 50% more tuba (3 to 2), 33% more trombone (6 to 4). They only have two non brass instruments (2 clarinets), not a flute to be seen. And while both bands have a drum set, the also have a legit bass drum, which we don’t. We might be more musical, but that’s not what you should be asking from your pep band. They produce roughly double the “pep”.

Good news is we made the sweet 16. But next round we will be likely facing UCONN
