Maryland’s coach remains a deeply awful person. Well maybe she is a fine person but she is the kind of jerk coach I wouldn’t want around my kid.

 
Making the S16 with the 7th-youngest team in D1 and after losing the production of Ustby, Gakdeng, and to a lesser degree Donarski is no small feat for Banghart and this program. Things are looking up even if they'll likely be annihilated on Friday

I don't have a problem with this body language depending on what she said. "I need you to lock in right now....YOU have got this. YOU are a great athlete. YOU were made for this moment. YOU know how to do it. So DO IT".

I can't lip read all of this, but I definitely caught "I believe in you." I don't think that was a bad pep talk. I saw Roy dress down Nasir Little 10x worse than that in Las Vegas. And Roy is a pretty good person.
 
I went to the game, took my mom and my daughter, fun atmosphere. Horrific officiating (i think first and 3rd quarters were 13-3 fouls called on us). Nivar had a great 4th quarter and EA and Laney were great the whole game

Yeah, WBB is so, so top heavy.

It's been 10 years since a 4 seed or lower made the F4...both 4 seed Syracuse and 7 seed Washington made it that year.
 
Women play #1 UConn tonight at 5pm on ESPN. Heels got their work cut our for them. Good lord, I saw UConn beat Syracuse. At one point they had quintupled the score on Syracuse. UConn looks like a WNBA team. It's other worldly. It's unreal how quick and explosive Sarah Strong can be at her size. They play team basketball too. Fingers crossed, but this is going to be an uphill battle.
