JD Vance has always been an empty suit and an amoral and ruthlessly ambitious social climber and power seeker, but this press conference was completely unhinged and casts his personality and world view in a very stark and unflattering light. He quite literally denied reality and trashed a good and innocent woman's reputation with blatant, flat-out lies and attacked and threatened the remaining news media that his side doesn't already control, like Fox and CBS. He revealed himself today to be a very dangerous man - there are simply no limits on what he will say or likely do to increase his power and control. And if he wins in 2028 and follows Trump our nightmare is not only going to continue but will likely get even worse, as he's much smarter and more disciplined than Trump.

Possibly the worst aspect of Vance is that he’s completely controlled by oligarchs such as Peter Thiel.

Thiel is definitely a fascist.
