You could see that coming in the new CBS Evening News anchorman's "promise to viewers" in which he basically says that CBS will no longer pay attention to the "elites" and will just listen to average, ordinary Americans who, according to him, only seem interested in MAGA talking points about Hillary's emails, Hunter Biden's laptop, President Biden's age, and so on. And the new anchor is also Katy Tur's husband, and she's little more than Trump lite. CBS has gone full MAGA, no doubt. They should now be given the same credibility as Fox or Newsmax.

You do understand that people can't be put into simple binary categories for whatever issue d'jour you decide to impose on them, right?

I mean, it's elementary to realize that people might not be happy about "the warmth of collectivism," and also not happy about a foreign country filled with "rugged individuals" bombing you and taking over your natural resources. Right? You do understand this, right? Please tell me you understand this.

Just exhibit number 1,000 that the people who start wars aren't in the same galaxy as those who fight them.

We had a very shitty transition plan for Iraq. We have none for Venezuela.

I mean, do these pencil necks think this is a math problem? Right now, all over the country, there are major power players with conflicting interests consolidating guns and money, and making plans (aided, abetted, and funded by international groups that see a practical or strategic interest here). At least some of them consider it to be in their best interests to eff with the Americans, and kill some/many.

What does Trump do when some Americans are killed down there, and photos and footage reach twitter?

Jesus Christ this is such a fucking catastrophe, and it hasn't even started yet. I pray to god some miracle occurs and something stable is able to sustain itself down there.
