To answer my own question, Bart has us as the 4th best offense since Syracuse and the top shooting team.We must be close to the No. 1 offense over the last six games. Anyone want to run the Bartovik analysis to see where we are?

What about defense and overall? To answer my own question, Bart has us as the 4th best offense since Syracuse and the top shooting team.
18th overallWhat about defense and overall?
That's because Cadeau was middlin' and RJ was Einsteinian.I was playing basketball during the game. Watching it now and just finished the first half. One thing I noticed is the Heels went on the run to pull away at the end if the first half with RJ running the point. Cadeau had some terrible turnovers in the first half, and the Heels weren't playing good defense until they went on that run.
I still think the best lineup is with RJ at the point and IJ at the two. Bring EC off the bench, playing him and RJ little together.I was playing basketball during the game. Rj has had his issues He is our MVP I agree at this point he is our best PGI still think the best lineup is with RJ at the point and IJ at the two. Bring EC off the bench, playing him and RJ little together.
Yeah I have not really been convinced that our team is playing that much better lately - mostly a combo of more shots falling and playing terrible competition - but we were definitely impressive tonight. This is an incredible performance. I know Virginia Tech is not a good team, but even some of our best teams have struggled and/or lost in Blacksburg. It would’ve been really easy for this team to come out tense and tight and looking ahead to a must win game on Saturday in Chapel Hill.
This can be easily flipped — the same exact looks *not* falling is the biggest thing within their control that has plagued them most of the season, and in many games against top teams.Yeah I have not really been convinced that our team is playing that much better lately - mostly a combo of more shots falling and playing terrible competition

They would be in a much different position if something even close to this kind of shooting had been consistently present most of the season. It’s not the competition either, because they’ve missed a maddening amount of open looks against every kind of team under the sun, until recently when they’ve finally started dropping.
Not to mention what seeing the ball go through the net can do for confidence and chemistry. It changes everything, on both sides of the court and in the locker room.

Flow, yes but shot quality had little to do with the bricks we were putting up. RJ was coming close and Tyson still isn't. Lack of confidence and nerves seemed to be the biggest issues.Right, barely beating mid-low tier ACC teams for most of the season. Shots falling is part of it, but I think if you were to go back and really look at shot quality and overall flow to these games, you'd see a big difference between then and now
Everyone finally on the same page and playing loose. The freshman have grown and Drake is being utilized in a way that maximizes his (and the team's) potential. But probably most important, RJ out of his head and returning to form
I do think our ball movement and off-the-ball movement look better, so there is that.Yeah I have not really been convinced that our team is playing that much better lately - mostly a combo of more shots falling and playing terrible competition - but we were definitely impressive tonight.

We're quibbling over minor points of perception, I believe, so I'm not going to push. I just think that, while you are right that there were a lot of bad ,late shots, it was because they were slow to take shots then that they are now taking. I definitely agree that the flow is better. They wasted many possessions every game with poor end of shot clock heaves, after initial actions broke down. We're not seeing nearly as many of those as of late
The ball is moving better and that alone can be enough to get guys in rhythm but less wasted possessions results in better shots overall
