White Lotus season 3

So far I'm digging this season - dook dad seems like a total douche just like the oldest son - although UNC mom is a pill popper

I can't decide if I think the British chick with the huge teeth is cute or not - she's got a lot of spunk which I like but those teeth are so distracting

The three women friends clearly all hate each other - waiting to see that totally blow up
 
I wondered if Belinda would eventually spot and recognize Uncle Rico. I think Valentin's fight conversation at the guard house was an intentional distraction to let the smash and grab guys in for the robbery. Seems that Data/Short Round has put Lucious Malfoy in a tough spot.

Have you ever seen Righteous Gemstones. Walton Groggins is also in that and his wife in that also has huge hillbilly teeth. I wonder if the casting was a partial nod.

I've never watched Righteous Gemstones but I've heard from a lot of people that it's really good - I'll have to give it a shot
 
Snakes on the loose courtesy Rick, Belinda questioning Greg/Gary, dook dad popping pills with the FBI closing in, Trump talk at dinner. That tidal wave is building. Setting up for nother epic White Lotus boat ride next week.

Thought this episode was lame. The snakes thing was silly. In Thai weed shops you get good weed, not laced whatever. The 3 blondes are the least interesting part of the show.

Did they specify that the weed was laced? Goggins’ character had been stressed out anyway so I interpreted him releasing the snakes was kind of showing him snapping a bit, not necessarily because he got bad weed. Maybe I missed something though.

Overall I liked the episode but agree that the snake part was kind of silly.

His character says that he thinks the weed was laced with something.
 
My wife and I were talking about how it is the most ominous show on television. Every little thing that happens— even if it appears to be something good or inconsequential on the surface— makes you wonder what horrible thing will result from it.
