I think you apply the TDS label to the wrong group. The sycophants and the excuse makers are really those with TDS.
The problem with just accepting Trump as is, though, also establishes precedent and normalizes egregious behavior for the future.

A big thing I took from the press conference was when Malone said that former players said things around the program were not like they used to be. That certainly gave me pause.
It’s not an exciting hire to me. It’s a solid hire. It is nice to see former players on board and enthusiastic. Also nice, for me at least, to read some of his past political comments.
I hear Trump supporters claim that we shouldn't pay attention to what Trump says. What says is bluster or theater or just diversion. Instead we should just pay attention to actions.
