I think that Cruz will likely win reelection in another close (for Texas) race, as he did in 2018. Having said that, I do think the by-now well-established "weirdo" factor for Cruz, combined with getting ripped apart in debates like these, does ensure that Cruz will never fulfill his ambitions to become president, and it's very unlikely that he'll even win the GOP nomination. Like DeSantis, he's too weird even for GOP primary voters to stomach. He'll probably remain in the Senate as long as he wants, but that's as high as he'll ever get, imo.Won't matter but he's just crushing Rafael Edward Cruz

“Many are trying to emulate Donald Trump; the problem is none of them are Donald Trump, and as a result they’re underperforming in races that categorically should be competitive,” said Mike Noble, an Arizona-based independent pollster. “And it’s hamstringing the G.O.P. on the Senate map this cycle.” …”
I'm surprised to see a non-swing-state even make the news. Progress?Won't make any difference, but at least someone in Missouri still has some ethics, common sense, and a backbone.
