I use a third party app and phone app settings to auto silence unknown numbers. The vast majority of those numbers are sequential, out of burbs of Dallas (I have a Dallas area code). I receive 2-8 calls per day, despite blocking each previously missed call. Running a poll has to be a bitch these days.

I agree that the current system is needlessly complex for the average tax payer. The solution to this is to expand the IRS, including the pilot program they’ve launched where the government prepares your taxes for you.

In order to go after the wealthiest tax cheats, the IRS needs money and manpower. We saw the right-wing freak out when Biden included increased IRS funding in the IRA.

Bouzy doesn't compare how those numbers compare to 2020, he just notes that D's hold a mail-in vote advantage, which is hardly news. He also notes that the D advantage for returned ballots is higher than the advantage for applied ballots, but simply gives raw percentages, without noting that it is less than 2% of the total vote at this time.
