Its a good thing you're not trying to find these horrible books because our GOP overlords are doing the good work of banning them so they don't pollute our next generation -- am I right? Or am I just in an echo chamber because I agree with so many people that we shouldn't be banning classic literature?

Yeah, I don't know why people say that. I'll never vote for a Democratic candidate except for maybe local races as long as their party platform is what it is now. I also won't vote for Trump. I'm going to write in Nikki Haley. Then I'll vote Straight Republican all the way down, except for Governor, in which I'll write in Pat McCrory. Under no circumstances will I vote for Mark Robinson, just not a serious person.

So let me see if I understand...

You are not going to vote for the leader of your party, Donald Trump , but you are going to vote a straight ticket for all of the candidates who support Donald Trump.

You are not going to vote for the leader of the NC GQP,Mark Robinson, but you are going to vote a straight ticket for all of the candidates who support Mark Robinson.

Have you considered just staying at home and not clogging the line of those voters who are serious about casting their votes ?

A Republican who writes in votes for Haley and McCory - thereby cancelling out potential votes for trump and Robinson - is a good thing over all. Well done.

In my opinion, books like the one I shared should absolutely be banned. But not the classic literature books.

Silly argument. There are plenty of things in society that are designed to protect children from things they aren’t mature enough to handle. Do you just let your kids watch porn or drink alcohol or drive a car at whatever age they want?

Children shouldn’t be subjected to books about “dads” being pregnant or other types of weird indoctrination related to sexuality or transgenderism

So just reading about a certain subject means you are being indoctrinated? Reading about and seeing trans people doesn't make someone trans. Pubs get upset about this stuff but won't do anything to protect kids from school shootings, and don't care about kids being bullied or having the same rights because they are trans or queer, even though it doesn't hurt anyone else. That's weird.

That book should probably not be in lower grade libraries. I don't know that it was.

Out of curiosity, are you okay with the Bible being in school libraries? Talk about indoctrination. What about young kids going to church ti be indoctrinated before their minds are fully developed? Any issues with that?
