I am voting against Trump but not for Harris.
I don't get it. Assuming you want the Trump Republican party to die, the best thing you can do is ensure that every MAGA is defeated, and the Republican Party can once again rise from the ashes. Not voting for Trump is a good start, but ensuring that Harris wins should figuratively, and perhaps even literally, put the nail in the coffin for Trump. The best way to do that is to cast a vote for Harris, even if you have to hold your nose whilst doing it.

Can we just stipulate that parsing someone’s protest vote is boring AF and move on.

He’s voting Trump up-and-down the ticket.

Yeah, I think we can assume any GQPer here saying they are not voting for Trump but will not vote for Harris is going to vote for Trump.

Same goes for those claiming they are not voting for Robinson...
Then how will you explain it when Trump and Harris is 50/50 in NC but Robinson loses by 10-15 points?

Or better yet, how do you explain Trump carrying the state in both 2016 and 2020 and Cooper doing the same?

Some people aren’t blinded by party lines and are mature enough to split their tickets. We have evidence of it already in NC. Y’all are just blinded by hate for Trump so you shut down when trying to process it.

It's more that you are blinded by love for Trump and can't see he is no different than Robinson.

I will be shocked if Stein wins by double digits.

Forest received 47% and Trump received 50% in 2020 ( Cooper was a popular incumbent)

McCrony received 49% and Trump received 50% ( McCrony was a not so popular incumbent )

very little mature vote splitting given the context of those elections

It will be interesting to see what the comparison of the Trump-Robinson vote will be;)

Stein is going to crush Robinson. I was voting for Stein way before the latest round of crazy stuff came out about Robinson, but the latest round of stuff made it a slam dunk that the governor’s mansion is Stein’s easily.

Robinson received 52% of the votes in 2020 and Trump received 50%

Just as many are ashamed to admit they voted for Trump, so too are they ashamed to admit that they will vote for Robinson in November.
Stein will not win by double digits, but he has a decent chance to win by as many as 3-4 points...

There is no one Harris would nominate that the GOP will support. This will be a constitutional crisis.

I'm always a fan of working within the system, but you can't work within the system for SCOTUS, and SCOTUS is destroying the country. Harris is very likely to going to have to take action outside the normal parameters of the presidency.
