Been watching a four quadrant football mix that happens to have a swing state team in each quadrant [UNC, Arizona v UCF, GA v FL and Michigan v Oregon] and we started noticing that the Georgia game has waaaay more Trump than Harris ads, while the other three have noticeably more Harris ads (though a lot of both).

Anecdotal obviously, but pretty striking how much heavier the Trump ad presence is in the Florida/Georgia game.
There were a bajillion Trump ads during the OSU-Penn State game earlier

Lawyers are the fucking worst
Well, good thing for you that I'm not one. I find it hard to believe that I'm being ridiculed for the suggestion that grabbing a phone, smashing it and walking off with it is unacceptable behavior. At best, it's vigilante justice.

Maybe that shouldn't be your first reaction.

Maybe people are tired of these white trash idiots acting like they can do whatever.

People snap.

And if your first reaction to someone yelling "******" is to get mad at the reaction, perhaps just sit out. Because that word is rightfully a trigger.

Seemed like a proportionate response from Kielce to me.
Agreed. And I think a judge would also rule against Kelce, but using the FAFO amendment, would order kelce to donate $10 to the charity of that guys choice or something, just as a slap in his face.

1. I am well aware that is is a trigger. But what is the proper punishment for using it? What if Kelce tackled him, beat his head into the ground and gave the guy a concussion? Is that OK? What is a disproportionate reaction?
2. Kelce is a rich, famous, straight guy. If he was gay, maybe I would understand a bit more. But it's like someone calling me the n-word. Highly inappropriate, but should it make me lose my fucking mind? I was never oppressed by the mindset represented by that word.
3. This isn't getting mad at the reaction. Suppose he turned around, walked up to the kid menacingly, stared at him, flexed and said, "say that again. I dare you, say that again." That's sort of inappropriate given the massive power difference between the two of them (physical and status). If I was getting upset about that, then maybe your criticism is valid.

But come on, he smashed and stole the guy's phone. My principle is that the person who goes violent first is usually in the wrong (as is anyone who escalates, which didn't happen here). If those guys were bugging him -- I mean, surely Jason Kelce can get a security guard to take care of the situation.

4. OJ snapped too. "Snapping" is not usually a justification for violence. If I'm having a bad day, and I'm stressed about a lot of things, and my kids are bugging me about X Y and Z and then my eldest calls me with a dumb question -- is it OK if I yell obscenities at him? Because, you know, people snap?

I say let a jury of Pennsylvanians sort it out. Good luck finding a jury there that will unanimously convict Jason Kelce.

So if the presidency thing doesn’t work out for him, we’ve learned he can: a) work at McDonalds, b) drive a trash truck, or c) give blowjobs
I don’t think they let home drive, but Trump showed he can ride in a trash truck.

Door proved to be a hurdle, so he may want to just climb in the back.

Speaking of the intersection of football and politics - imagine thinking that putting the brain-damaged Antonio Brown in charge of ANYTHING would be a good idea?
