This is the long-term Musk/Thiel play - tank the American economy, cause the country to default on its debt and weaken the dollar's status as the world's reserve currency, then encourage everyone to flee into crypto as a new reserve currency instead.

Yeah, my understanding is that in CA, misdemeanor cases are typically tried before a jury. In NC, they are initially tried before a judge (no jury). Obviously jury trials take a lot longer than bench trials.
When ADAs in NC start out, they are in district court handling misdemeanors, and in Mecklenburg they are probably trying 3-5 cases cases per day (most of these are very short trials), so making 3-5 closing arguments per per day. As such, they have probably made 100s of closing arguments after just their first year at the DAs office.

Thanks guys. I had honestly forgotten she worked so long as a county DA. You're probably right she argued many cases of that kind, though what you're describing is only loosely a "closing argument."

If Char-Meck turns out to vote (Dems and Dem-leaning Indys) then NC has a chance to go blue. If they don’t show up to vote (just like they didn’t in 2020) then NC stays redder than my arse after a hot shower.

If they show up, NC can actually help win the entire election for VP Harris.

I’d like to think Durham will play a part in this as well as the number of eligible voters increased by 7-8k since 2020 per the Durham BOE site.
 
Trump himself said he would "prosecute anyone who cheats"....will he go after this guy? Or will Vance call him a patriot too?

They are leaving out the part about Crypto replacing government currencies, including the U.S. dollar, as the primary world currency. Elon and a lot of his Tech Bro buds are quite serious about that.
