"I think a troll should be President of world's most powerful country" without an ounce of regret huh?
It’s amazing that People who are educated would vote for someone who
1.) led a coup and failed
2.) wants to turn the US into an oligarchy
3.) wants to put RFK in “charge of health” including HHS and fda
all because he trolls liberals

Trump being a troll is absolutely a feature to his base, not a bug. I agree with that. And in the final days of the election, it's really about rallying the base and not trying to change people's minds - so yes, he comes out in a garbage truck on the way to his rally in Wisconsin and says "How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is honor of Kamala and Joe Biden"
You say this, but you voted for him. How? Why? I just can't imagine debasing myself by voting for someone I know to be a troll.

Almost as if Putin really is a master puppeteer.

HY12 - though I am appreciative of his participation here in order to give the community some current Republican views on things without his default conversation mode being a belligerent asshole - is emblematic of why we keep banging our heads against the wall wondering why Trump voters don't seem to "get it."

They don't care. They know but they just don't care. The greater the double-standard, the more delicious for them it is. The more we're outraged or offended, the more succulent the issue/offense seems to be for them.

Even though we have the truth and objective reality on our side - it's like arguing with a psycho chick (or dude) or someone with Borderline Personality Disorder - if you don't have the same standards, fundamentals, or principles, you can't agree on anything and you can't resolve anything. Hell, it's difficult to even struggle to find the elusive middle ground. Then throw in the cult-of-personality and the evangelical angles, and you've got something truly pernicious.

And this is extremely difficult to combat and/or defeat/deprogram.

This is near exactly why I’ve stated numerous times that callayeahs are just too cowardly to openly support the shit they actually like about being maga. They oft claim inflation!!! Prices!!!! Economy!!!! Then blankly stare at hard data showing historically high 401ks, an economy that’s blistering the rest of the planet, and consumer confidences normalizing, after the world’s greatest economic recovery folllowing the worst pandemic since 1918.

It’s not the economy for them. It never has been.

Yep. From the uber-liberal WSJ --

Whoever wins the White House next week will take office with no shortage of challenges, but at least one huge asset: an economy that is putting its peers to shame.

With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.

Again, callayeahs lie. Maybe the first lie is to themselves, thus the shit they’ve spewed on this board (and I assume still do) isn’t technically lying, but it’s WHOLLY dishonest at a minimum.

We're a few days away from finding out how many of those Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania think that being called floating garbage by a campaign-vetted surrogate at a rally in New York City isn't a big story.
I'm not sure we're a few days away.

On 10/24, 50K Latinos had voted in NC. By 10/30, that number almost doubled to 91K. There were of course increases in other groups as well, but not nearly as big in % terms.

Trump literally called Democrats garbage multiple times throughout the summer and early fall, and THEN changed it to an even worse message and called them the enemies from within.

IMAGINE how much trumpers would piss and moan if Harris called maga her enemies. They would lose their shit for daaaaays.
He also called us vermin.

You think a troll is a good president for the greatest nation in the history of the world? Lord help us.
I've laid out in great detail in recent days my 6 or 7 main reasons I voted for Trump. My vote has been cast, I'm done rehashing the same points over and over. Now we just await the results, and I guarantee you I won't be on here freaking out if Trump loses.

I do think Trump is pretty funny sometimes. I don't think the garbage truck thing was all that funny personally. But I'd say I'm "lukewarm" to "thinks it's slightly funny" on it. But then again, I don't take politics nearly as seriously as most of you do. It's a hobby of mine but I have a different perspective on its importance than many of the TDS folks.

Because I think he was a good President. He isn't my ideal candidate, but I prefer him over the alternative.
I know this argument wont matter one bit, but if UNC football had a head coach that had a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense, but that coach was arrested for and found guilty of sexual assault, and had felony guilty verdicts, was a habitual cheater on his wives, and ran a scam charity, I wouldn't care one fucking bit about how well he devised an offense or a defense.

Because my team deserves better than that, and those players deserve better than to have someone in that position that they can look up to. And if you are willing to sacrifice your character for someone like that, then go for it.

Yeah, you've made it clear you care far more about results (as they impact you, not others) than character. I think, and hope, you'll change your view on that as you get older and wiser. We'll be here when you do.

But even if you care about results that would affect a middle class teacher/accountant family in North Carolina, it is idiotic to vote for Trump. Kamala is a much better economic pick.

i know you just said it for argument's sake but tfg doesn't have anything close to a top 10 offense or defense, lmao.

he's got a john shoop offense and a dan disch defense.
