Yeah, it’s almost like they have people inside the campaign trying to destroy it. That or Trump and Musk and Vance and RFK jr surrounded themselves with exactly these kinds of people on purpose and failed (or quit trying) to keep them from using the platform of a presidential campaign to amplify who they are and what ball-tanning, conspiracy spinning toxic faux masculinity and incel hatred really took like.

The squirrel thing: some online-famous (male) OnlyFans model had an illegal pet squirrel; someone called the cops, and they apparently took it and euthanized it. Because this happened in NY, conservatives have rallied around it as the epitome of liberal governmental tyranny and Elon posted about it almost non-stop yesterday (including with AI-generated images of a squirrel with, like, a machine gun and tactical gear).

the Ann Selzer thing: I'm sure it has to do with the Iowa poll, but not sure how that became a hit with the gay community specifically

The "guy that killed Bin Laden" thing is the tweet that is being quoted at the bottom there. Some young guy posted a picture of himself and his friends with the caption "We’re Gen Z voters and we all PROUDLY voted for Kamala Harris! Real men support Harris" and the (Trump-supporting) Seal Team Six guy (Robert O'Neill) posted "You're not men. You're buys. If there was no social media you would be my concubines." Many people have pointed out that this is a deeply weird tweet that implies that this supposedly macho dude wants to use young men as sex slaves.

I'm beyond nervous. I'd love to feel as optimistic as other folks but I just can't shake the feeling that he's going to find a way to win, and will.

I am very nervous, especially after 2016. I am not a fan of Kamala, but I had to vote for her to stop this monstrosity. Tomorrow is going to be a shitshow by Trump either way.
