Wow !

That is interesting. If Walz does not seek re-election and Klobuchar decides to run for governor can she do so without giving up her Senate seat ? I think her term will not expire for another 3 years.

If she wins, can she appoint her replacement in the Senate to finish her term or will a special election be held ?

Interesting snapshot over time
Big R district?
I just updated with the past three elections. It's an interesting timeline. I would say Big R considering in 2020 the Democrats didn't even field a candidate

To go from not worth spending money on because of the 15 point margin of victory to a 21 vote difference in 6 years is crazy. I suspect it would revert to the mean in a normal election, as opposed to one during the holidays but still. That's a rainy day turnout damper away from being a Democrat seat right now.

This is actually more 2028 news, when Chuck Grassley would have to run for reelection again (at then 95 years old).

She has (relatively quietly outside Alaska) been a very effective politician. But her running for Senate could cost Dems this House seat.

That could be a could trade for the Dems if she picks up an Alaska Senate seat. Let's see, Alaska, NC, NH, and Ohio.

Trump keeps saying this, too. It is their get out the vote strategy (and may also be deserved).
This is hilarious. Most GOPers are going to want to put healthy distance between themselves and a historically unpopular president. So what does the president want? To make the whole election about him. But that's only half of it. He is specifically inviting everyone to examine all the reasons why he should be impeached.

Dems should take him up on it. It could be a unifying campaign theme. We could hit every single issue this way.
