Speculation alert - I already suspected that Trump’s post may have been made during a briefing — sort of publicly arguing with the brief real time(?). This Hegseth statement (alluding to Trump’s post) strengthens my suspicion on that count.

its not a coincidence that names of all on board blackhawk hasnt been released yet......just one of them. did d dump have that done on purpose? stay tuned

I know many people see Hegseth as just a Fox News guest, but I think I would put him in at President over Trump. At least he talks like an adult and exercises some restraint.

The only one I know of is Ryan O'hara ( or something similar). Married father of one.

True - he only assaulted the woman, he didn't kill her. Good restraint.

He only got drunk before work, he didn't overdose and die! Good restraint.

The co-pilot was a woman.... the helicopter was flying too high....the writing is on the wall for where this is going.

That’s false. In his first term, Trump left the standards unchanged.

For air traffic controllers, the Obama administration in 2013 instituted a new hiring system that introduced a biographical questionnaire to attract minorities, underrepresented in the controller corps. The program was criticized, such as in a Fox News report in 2015, as making it harder for more skilled applicants to get hired as controllers.

But Trump, in his first term, left the policy in place, leading to a class-action lawsuit filed in 2019 by Mountain States Legal Foundation. The case was due to go to trial this year.

Moreover, the FAA under Trump in 2019 launched a program to hire controllers using the very criteria he decried at his news conference.
“FAA Provides Aviation Careers to People with Disabilities,” the agency announced on April 11, 2019. The pilot program, the announcement said, would “identify specific opportunities for people with targeted disabilities, empower them and facilitate their entry into a more diverse and inclusive workforce.”

well what if it is found out that it was pilot error which seems to be the case. i dont understand the need for both sides to politicize tragedies. just sickening what we have come to in this country theres no goddamn human decency anymore. we never wouldve won ww2 with all this stupid vile bipartisanship we have today and yes your party is just to blame.

You blame it on those you want to oppress because by the time the truth is known weeks or months from now, he knows his base will have moved on with the understanding that the collision was due to DEI. The facts won't matter because in the minds of those he needs support from, the situation will already be "understood" and blame assigned.

We're back to what does it mean to "understand" the cause of the crash due to what one needs the information for.

For Trump, all he needs to know is who to blame so that he knows who to punish. That's as far as it goes for him and so knowing which party is at fault is all the information he needs.

But for those who have the responsibility to try to prevent future accidents, there is obviously a lot more information needed to try to improve both protocols and practices. However, as Trump as no interest, much less any aptitude, in working to actually fix anything, the greater information is irrelevant.

well it did somewhat suck to be raised without mind controlling religions and politics since our society is so conditioned at young impressionable ages by at least one of the two by their parents....most likely by both. you think you are so smart and enlightened but you are as simple-minded as your cohorts in this country. you are in the very very large majority i will concede you that. truth hurts but you cant distinguish the truth because you are just another mindless controlled animal in our society.
