By the way - do you see how many times ramrouser has tried to change the subject to avoid acknowledging how stupid his post was when he said American Eagle sold $300 million of jeans in one day? Can you imagine being a lawyer (allegedly) and not knowing the difference between $300 million in sales and a $300 million increase in stock price?
You seem a bit obsessed with my post so I'll respond. Admittedly it was a somewhat harmless mistake - does it really change the broader point that AE has benefitted substantially by the ad? The number of $300M didn't seem that unrealistic to me given the frenzy the ad created since I initially thought these jeans sold in the $200 -$300 range. As I've subsequently discovered American Eagle jeans are relatively inexpensive selling from $35 to $89.

I bet you $100 that a straight southern male is, in fact, on top of the ticket in 2028.
Might not be a Southerner……could be a Pennsylvanian, Californian, Illini, Hoosier/Michigander……..not too many prominent white male Southerners to choose from.

Bigger problem for Dems. Your assertions center around one man in the Party - who's proven to have a teflon veneer which can easily withstand accusations and cheep shots from the media/libs.

The Dems problem is structural in that the base of the party is moving hard left/Marxist/Hammas. That's where the energy lies.

The fun part begins with the Dem 2028 primary which will be the first primary since 2008 which will be open and largely free from the reigns of the Party Bosses (rank and file won't accept another heavy handed primary). Therefore, the Party Bosses will not be able to keep a hard left candidate from winning the way they did with Bernie. The rank and file are going to get who they want finally. That's going to be someone from the hard left.

No way a straight, Southern, Christian moderate like Beshear gets through a Dem primary in 2027/28.
Tell you what. I'm in a charitable mood today. Let's compromise here in good bipartisan fashion to get to the bottom of this mystery!

Care to share a link to where the Democratic Party platform, or any plurality of its politicians or strategists, are advocating for a Marxist system of government, or are supporting the Palestinian terrorist organization known as Hamas? It should be easy to find since it's apparently the whole entire party! I'm eagerly awaiting these links so that I can confess to the error of my ways in joining the Democratic voting coalition, swear off "THE WOKE" forever, and return to my Republican roots.

While you're doing that, I'll pull together links to how every single Republican politician in Congress went on record and voted to block the release of the Epstein files since they implicate Trump as a child molester. Next, I'll compile links to every single Republican politician who expressed outrage at Trump's movement of a convicted child rapist from prison to a luxury resort. (it won't take long- spoiler alert: it's zero!). After that, I'll pull some links to prominent Republican politicians and media personalities parroting and advancing Vladimir Putin's agenda at America's expense.

We can reconvene and compare and contrast which political party is catering to its extreme factions. Sound good?

Oh I don't know. You could measure it by comparing it to the amount of people in the same party who *don't* hold the view.
As an outsider, yes, it can be looked at when compared to polling. But, if a person truly believes, as many Christians do, that life begins at conception... you believe you're right and your view is not at all extreme, right?

since I initially thought
This is the essence of your problem. Your problem is that your brain is so irreparably rotted from whatever trash social media that you guzzle that it has completely lost its ability to think critically or apply sound logic and reasoning before spouting off something stupid on a message board. If your brain wasn't so rotted, even you would have a very difficult time coming across as intellectually stunted as you do. For example, you'd know not to say things like "Adolf Hitler was a left-winger" or "American Eagle sold $300 million in blue jeans in a single day" among many other examples.

Lots of Christians believe in making exceptions for rape, incest, mother's health, etc. (Lots also believe, correctly, that abortion isn't a biblical issue).

Those who want to ban all abortions in all circumstances are extreme, and I think that's demonstrable by polling numbers.

I mean, look, let's be honest - the money is less important than the fact that you are now free to get boners from ads again. I'm really excited for you, it must feel great.

I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make. Very few, if any, people think of their own views as "extreme." But whether someone thinks their own view is "extreme" is irrelevant to whether it is extreme when measured in the context of the society they live in.

You could just as easily say that many/most vegans truly believe that it is immoral to eat animal products of any kind. That belief is probably just as genuinely held as those Christians who believe abortion is immoral and should be banned. But something like 1% of the population is vegan, so that belief is clearly "extreme" in an objective sense.

ETA: or, if you need a political example, many people genuinely believe that we would all be better off if we abolished private property. They don't see that view as extreme; they see it as logical and borne out by history. But it is clearly an objectively extreme political view.

If you're wrong, will you go away forever?

The favorites are all straight save Pete. They are all moderate. I can't think of a single hard left candidate who's even been mentioned as a possible candidate.
Do you understand what Marxism is? Serious question. You throw that word around a lot, but it's pretty much Wallace Shawn's "inconceivable." Hamas is the opposite of Marxism. There are no Marxists who are pro-Hamas. There are very few leftists who are pro-Hamas, if any.

So would you like to explain what you think the terms "hard left", "Marxist" and "Hamas" mean?

But it's probably not. This is 100% how politics works today. You take the views of extreme fringe figures and paint the entire group with that brush.

So, between Bernie, Mamdani and Tlaib, the Right can paint the entire D party as Jew-hating socialist, communists who support Muslim terrorism.
lmao wut?!

bernie sanders IS jewish.

As you are fully aware, the Democratic Party is not going to label their policies Marxist as that term is toxic (for now). There is no question the Party is headed squarely in that direction. Mamdani is well on his way of becoming the Mayor of the country's most important city. He openly advocates for owning the means of production - city run subsidized grocery stores, freezing the rent, nationalizing all utility companies, free bus services, free childcare, free baby baskets, eliminating billionaires, massive tax increases on the "rich", etc. This on top of supporting defunding the police and spending 65M on gender affirming care.

Of course, he uses the term "Democratic Socialist" to seem less scary - more Scandinavian like. So, you'll need to wait on those links until the hard left wins the Presidential nomination and modifies the Party platform - around the summer of 2028.

You are proving my point over and over and over and over and over and over again and you are too gobsmackingly stupid to even know that you're doing so. But thanks for the boost!

Unfortunately, due to your support of a child molester who fantasized about having sex with his daughter, and due to your propensity for assigning ideology to tens upon tens of millions of people based on the politics or views of a single person, I've got no choice but to assume that you, too, were a child molester who wanted to have sex with your daughter. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

You need to ask your side to explain it as I see a whole lotta people today who are hard left/Marxists - i.e. Mamdani supporters - wearing keffiyehs and banging pots in the streets shouting "From the River to the Sea" - who support Hamas. The two groups have inexplicably merged. You also see Queers for Palestine signs at rallies. What on earth do the LGBTQ community and Hamas have in common? I have no idea why the left and Hamas/anti semites have joined forces but they have. My guess is that they've swallowed whole this Oppressor/Oppressed doctrine taught in Universities so they now consider Israel/Jews the oppressors and Hamas as the oppressed - so now the Jews are the bad guy colonizers.

I had no idea there were so many leftists who were also Hamas loving/Jew hating individuals until Oct 7.

I don't doubt you see a "whole lotta" those people. That's what happens when you spend your life in a right wing media bubble. It has no resemblance to the real world, but they sure have done a great job getting people like you riled up.
