2028 will be a Biden cycle - ie someone perceived as safe. Don’t see the dems nominating any kind of minority in 2028. I think even Jewish would be too risky.I think there’s a good chance there could be two gay guys at or near the tops of their respective tickets in 2028- Buttigieg and Vance.

Have you met a single person in real life who says they support Hamas? Or is this just based on LibsofTikTok's Twitter feed?I had no idea there were so many leftists who were also Hamas loving/Jew hating individuals until Oct 7.
In fairness, he may not have met a single person in real life who SAYS he supports the KKK, either. People tend not to admit those things. That said, I am confident Ramrouser has lots of KKK supporters in his orbit.Have you met a single person in real life who says they support Hamas? not picking up what you're putting down here.far-reaching generalizations aren't slowed by details....
Vance?
Objectophiliacs are individuals who experience sexual or romantic attraction to inanimate objects. This attraction can be a strong emotional and romantic bond with specific objects like buildings, trains, or even abstract concepts. It's not the same as fetishism, where attraction is to a class of objects, but rather a focused attraction to a particular, unique object.
So in other words, you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. I asked you a simple question and instead of answering it, you went on a random digression. You need to ask your side to explain it as I see a whole lotta people today who are hard left/Marxists - i.e. Mamdani supporters - wearing keffiyehs and banging pots in the streets shouting "From the River to the Sea" - who support Hamas. The two groups have inexplicably merged. You also see Queers for Palestine signs at rallies. What on earth do the LGBTQ community and Hamas have in common? I have no idea why the left and Hamas/anti semites have joined forces but they have. My guess is that they've swallowed whole this Oppressor/Oppressed doctrine taught in Universities so they now consider Israel/Jews the oppressors and Hamas as the oppressed - so now the Jews are the bad guy colonizers.

I'm happy to revise to "a single person in real life who you believe to be a Hamas supporter." I really doubt it's going to change the answer to my question. In fairness, he may not have met a single person in real life who SAYS he supports the KKK, either. People tend not to admit those things. That said, I am confident Ramrouser has lots of KKK supporters in his orbit.
1. Mamdani is a single guy who has no pull with the party. Spare us the bullshit. As you are fully aware, the Democratic Party is not going to label their policies Marxist as that term is toxic (for now). There is no question the Party is headed squarely in that direction. Mamdani is well on his way of becoming the Mayor of the country's most important city. He openly advocates for owning the means of production - city run subsidized grocery stores, freezing the rent, nationalizing all utility companies, free bus services, free childcare, free baby baskets, eliminating billionaires, massive tax increases on the "rich", etc. This on top of supporting defunding the police and spending 65M on gender affirming care.
Of course, he uses the term "Democratic Socialist" to seem less scary - more Scandinavian like. So, you'll need to wait on those links until the hard left wins the Presidential nomination and modifies the Party platform - around the summer of 2028.
Yeah, it has been hilarious to watch the alignment unfold between the white, liberal LGBTQIA+ community and Hamas, lol. They have so much in common! You need to ask your side to explain it as I see a whole lotta people today who are hard left/Marxists - i.e. Mamdani supporters - wearing keffiyehs and banging pots in the streets shouting "From the River to the Sea" - who support Hamas. What he’s not is a Democrat.lmao wut?!
bernie sanders IS jewish.
Bet is with Ram, only. And I am also not certain that it is a 50/50 odds, so it’s potentially a good bet for him to make. While I think it has a good shot of happening, I don’t think the odds are 50%. I’ll take that bet - but I’ll wait until 2028 to deposit the funds.
neither am i but we can identify with them a lot more so than we can the right. What he’s not is a Democrat.
Even just taking the UNC protest that happened in recent years, those protests were organized by “Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)”. SJP is absolutely pro-Hamas. National SJP described Hamas' actions on October 7 as a “historic win for Palestinian resistance" and a “strategic counteroffensive against their settler-colonial oppressor”.Have you met a single person in real life who says they support Hamas? Or is this just based on LibsofTikTok's Twitter feed?
I don't think I've ever advocated for a person to be banned but I'm willing to make an exception for Ram. It's got nothing to do with different political views.... It's that he comes here with his right wing fever swamp talking points and never provides links to back up his accusations... It's always a - here's what I'm seeing/hearing and you have to take my word for it. Hey Ram, if you don't know how to share the information you're consuming, just ask and I'm sure someone would be more than happy to assist you.I don't doubt you see a "whole lotta" those people. That's what happens when you spend your life in a right wing media bubble. It has no resemblance to the real world, but they sure have done a great job getting people like you riled up.
I was saying that the existence of Bernie, Mamdani and Tlaib allows the Right, in their minds, to paint the entire Dem party as jew-hating, socialist, Communist, terrorist supporters.not picking up what you're putting down here.
you called a jewish person "jew hating." laughable and obscene. hopefully it was tongue in cheek and you were mocking the right a bit?
anti-israel =/= anti-jew.
I don't personally know anyone in Students for Justice in Palestine (and suspect you don't either) so I won't speak for their views about Hamas. But the problem with critiques like this is that they make no attempt to distinguish between pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas. I think there are a lot more people who are pro-Palestinian but still condemn Hamas than people who support Hamas. They may all agree that Israel is an "oppressor" but they would call Palestinians, not Hamas, the oppressed. And certainly I don't think holding the view that Israel is an "oppressor" can in any way be equated with supporting terrorism (though Netanyahu and his allies certainly would argue that).Even just taking the UNC protest that happened in recent years, those protests were organized by “Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)”. SJP is absolutely pro-Hamas.
So yeah, if you are attending a protest organized by a pro-Hamas group, it’s fair to label you as pro-Hamas and pro-terrorism.
Obviously, many of the individuals attending such protests wouldn’t say they are actually pro-terrorism if polled. They’ve just been brainwashed by left wing propaganda about Israel vs Hamas and they think Israel is an oppressor and Hamas is oppressed.
You are either a fool or a troll. Or both.Bigger problem for Dems. Your assertions center around one man in the Party - who's proven to have a teflon veneer which can easily withstand accusations and cheep shots from the media/libs.
The Dems problem is structural in that the base of the party is moving hard left/Marxist/Hammas. That's where the energy lies.
The fun part begins with the Dem 2028 primary which will be the first primary since 2008 which will be open and largely free from the reigns of the Party Bosses (rank and file won't accept another heavy handed primary). Therefore, the Party Bosses will not be able to keep a hard left candidate from winning the way they did with Bernie. The rank and file are going to get who they want finally. That's going to be someone from the hard left.
No way a straight, Southern, Christian moderate like Beshear gets through a Dem primary in 2027/28.
Yes. Everyone here condemned SJP. I know I did. I was sickened when I saw what they were posting. They probably number about 1000-2000 hard core members nationally. I have no idea what % of them are leftists. Probably some, but definitely not all.Even just taking the UNC protest that happened in recent years, those protests were organized by “Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)”. SJP is absolutely pro-Hamas. National SJP described Hamas' actions on October 7 as a “historic win for Palestinian resistance" and a “strategic counteroffensive against their settler-colonial oppressor”.
