The better question, IMO.....

Do Dems disagree because of states rights or is it because they really aren't that concerned about rioting and looting.

Many Dem state leaders seem uncomfortably content with rioting, arson and looting.

In large part because there's a better system to manage that than government sponsored jackbooted thuggery and is less dangerous to America. That's just off the top of my head.

Thinking about Floyd riots, as an example, what system is better than strong law enforcement and national guard?

Ridiculous. We live in the richest country at the best time ever for humanity. Are there issues? Of course. There has never been a time where there are not issues. But an average American today has it better than 99.999% of any human that has ever existed.

Honest question
Why do you worry about this? I can understand things not being what you want for everyone everywhere but it’s preposterous to wake up today and think one second about being kidnapped or you (in the US) being in some kind of global conflict. We are totally insulated. It’s fine to be sad for your fellow man in other areas of the world but for you to be worried about this is odd.

He said worrying "about anyone being kidnapped" and yes, immigrants actually have been kidnapped right off the streets here in the USA and detained for very long stretches without clear justification, or even deported.

Agree with respect to opinion polls. Election polls are a whole different animal. They're also shaky these days, but I absolutely agree opinion polls are not very useful anymore to predict election results.
