Is there hard evidence for that? This is from a ten year old Washington Post article. The data scientist measured how often people use the n-word during google searches. WV is there along with much of the South and rural northeast but not so much in Idaho.

Well, I assume a large factor is that there aren't any black people in Idaho, so day to day usage isn't as common. Same holds true of much of the Midwest. Since Idaho is the home to quite a few white nationalist enclaves, I'm thinking they aren't huge fans of minorities. They move there so they can get away from them.

Idaho has become a hotbed for white nationalism over the last decade. Spend a week in Coeur d'Alene and report back.

Good theory but it doesn't seem to hold up. Blacks are a very small percentage of the population of West Virginia but it appears to have plenty of people making n- searches.

Appalachia, MS/AL, Sand Hills, Piney Woods in LA/TX where Mini Mike holds office, PA (some). Louisiana, Redneck Riviera.

Indiana has a long history - undervalued here. NW of Chicago is missing. More of east Texas is needed. Ozarks, southern Missouri.

A LOT longer than the last decade.

Ruby Ridge was 33 years ago. Randy Weaver was a white supremacist.

Aryan Nations founder, Richard Butler, moved to Idaho in the early-mid ‘70’s.
To be clear, Idaho has become MORE of a hotbed in the last decade.

Yes, it has always been bad. But there have been significant demographic changes in Idaho in the last decade. A LOT of racists from California have relocated there (and from other states, too).

If there was someway to combine the northeast with California and the Pacific Northwest and leave the rest to MAGA and the Pubs we would have a great country. VA, NC and even GA would be good, too, if you just got rid of the rural areas.

His 8 wars thing is hilarious.

What single war was stopped? Israel and Hamas are back at it.
He really does live in a fantasy world of his own making, and he has all of his life. He's more than rich enough to surround himself with butt-kissers and boot-lickers who only tell him what he wants to hear, and who reinforce his image of himself as a misunderstood genius. That's what they were hired for. He's one of those people who doesn't want anyone around him telling him bad things or anything that he doesn't want to hear - or to put it another way, bringing him back to reality. I'm sure he is told constantly at cabinet meetings, WH staff meetings, and by everyone around him what a great peacemaker he is (he's not), how much other global leaders respect and admire him (they don't and in fact laugh at him), how great the economy is going in every respect thanks to his great leadership, how everything that goes wrong in the country is the fault of the Democrats and his many enemies and critics who are out to get him, and on and on. It's insane, yet here we are.
