I wonder if his disapproval rating is because he focused on bombing Venezuelan fishing boats, bailing out Argentina, and trying to influence the Honduran election.

Just maybe folks are beginning to figure out Trump's "America First" agenda is actually "(South ) America First"

This cadre of voters who are currently under 30 years-old will likely flip-flop from officeholder/candidate/party FREQUENTLY. They’ll likely be constantly unhappy and angry. They’ll likely have no political principles aside from “What about me?”

In fairness their lives have been brutally rough.

Exploding college cost, job market is hell, covid, AI, can't enter the housing market....

Bingo. It is a miracle they aren't murdering us all in our sleep. The number of boomers and older gen xers who simultaneously pretend to dote on their grandchildren while also shoving a knife in their back politically is amazing.

Listen to some of the debates on YouTube between these young liberal guys like Dean Withers and maga/trump fanatics and the extraordinary lengths the maga callers go to to defend him is wiiiild.

It’s quite funny to watch them twist and squirm to accommodate all His crimes and make excuses but is also quite exhausting.

That Withers kid is sharp. His conversations with MAGAs are like a well-informed adult debating children.
 
"High Point University released another poll indicating the political environment is going to be tough for Republicans in 2026. The poll compares US sentiment to North Carolina feelings about the state of the nation. Overall, the state is more favorable to Trump and Republicans than the country as a whole, but that doesn’t mean the outlook is good.

The poll surveys self-identified registered voters in both the state and nation. Among North Carolinians, 45% say they are more likely to vote for the Democrat for Congress, while 42% say they are more likely to vote for the Republican. Nationally, Democrats have a nine point advantage, a percentage that reflects the generic ballot in other polls."
