The FBI gave the NY Post access to the perpetrator's home this soon after the crime? Seriously?!

Doesn't anyone else find this incredibly strange ... or unbelievable ? It's a very significant crime scene of domestic terrorism, and they gave these NY Post nitwits access to the crime scene, just a day after the event?!
My guess is the FBI knocked in the door and didn't secure it, or more likely, they asked/paid the landlord to let them in. Still weird its not secured but maybe they got everything they needed?

Received a few small updates from my buddy and his wife who owned the airbnb where the New Orleans attacker stayed. The house caught fire and received significant smoke and water damage. They're going to have to gut the interior and rebuild/refurnish. They had an exhausting day and say they've been working with the federal investigators. My buddy says he's going to update me in more detail today. Will pass along anything interesting.
I'm sorry for what you, your friend, and your city are going through. My first visit to the Crescent City was for New Years this year. A fascinating, colorful city with many wonderful people. My best to you and yours.

Get ready for more attacks like this..... future ones will b more coordinated suicide missions. Isis and al qaeda. Govt knows just like they knew about 9-11. Gotta love all these ridiculous organized religions that have killed millions thruout history and will cont to kill one way or another.
Is this parody?

I found the interview on NPR of the father of an 18 year-old son who was killed by the truck-driving murderer interesting.

The family is Islamic. The deceased son was Islamic.

The obviously grieving father said, “What did my son do to get killed?”

“It doesn’t represent Islam. It doesn’t represent ANYTHING.”

His last sentence resonated with me.

His family must be relieved and horrified at the same time.
“Gee, daddy was planning on killing all of us at the same time! How horrifying!”
“Golly gee, we sure are lucky daddy decided to kill all those people with that truck! What a relief!”

A lifetime of survivor’s guilt on top of the guilt of wondering if you could have done something to prevent the attack and just knowing your dad is a mass murderer who would have killed you, given the opportunity.

I guess also thank your mom and step-dad for not letting dad see you recently (though I could see how that might bend toward ‘if you let him see us maybe he wouldn’t have been so angry and …’ in the minds of his kids)?
