Appears to be born and raised near Houston. Looks like maybe his life started unraveling during COVID, but more to come I’m sure.

Makes sense to postpone the game given the rumors he didn’t act alone. Homegrown iSIS cell?

Rumors are not a basis to postpone the game. if there is hard intelligence like with the Taylor Swift concert, then it would make sense. But posts on tigerdroppings don't cut it.

Skeptical of this report. There are a whole lot of reasons why the game needs to be played today.
Reasonable to be skeptical … here is basis, which is hardly definitive:

“…
While an official decision on the Sugar Bowl hasn't been made yet, WGNO is reporting that workers assigned to tonight's College Football Playoff game have been told "not to show up for work at this time." If that's true, that would indicate that the Sugar Bowl has been postponed.

Around the same time this report from WGNO was released, the Sugar Bowl released its second statement of the day.

"The Sugar Bowl Committee is devastated by the terrible events from early this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families," the Sugar Bowl said in its latest statement. "We are in ongoing discussions with authorities on the local, state, and federal levels and will communicate further details as they become available." …”

FBI: “This is not a terrorist event” - as ISIS flag on the truck flaps in the wind

Fox is reporting multiple suspects in the attack but waiting for a more credible source to confirm (Fox also (apparently incorrectly) reported earlier that the suspect had illegally crossed the Southern Border).

The FBI labeled it a terrorist event pretty quickly after the initial confusion this morning. They have been calling it a terrorist attack since around 10:00 this morning.
yeah, not so sure it was confusion so much as a matter of needing confirmation that the ISIS flag was not intentional misdirection, but either way they shifted to calling it terrorism this morning.

I fully expected idiotic, sick and diabolical ish like this on the daily had trump not won. All of the warning signs were there.
But trump did win...

I'm not the only one waiting to find out what motivated this guy or what was haunting him enough to do something as horrible as this. Just like we all speculate after a mass shooting: Was he a hard-right looney trying to exact "revenge" on the left and the "unGodly"? Was he a commie, pinko-leftist, pissed off because Trump won? Or was he simply drunk, high on some drugs and his girl friend just dumped him right outside that bar and he was aiming for her and her "new" friend she had just met? A murder/suicide-by-cop-imma-take-out-as-many-others-as-I-can-as-I-go-out-in-a-blaze-of-ingloriousness? At first glance, it seems like the latter.

Of course it's all speculation right now. Time will tell, as he is identified and they go through his phone, his online presence/socials, his computer hard-drive... his past brushes with the law... his VOTING history... his manifesto (if any).
Whether or not he was here legally? Can that be something to consider?

You’re giving them credit for this when there was an ISIS flag on the terrorist’s truck. Pretty low bar.
