That's a misrepresentation of Exodus.

More importantly, in Leviticus ,a book of law involving no poetic imagery(After all, we know that fog doesn't travel on cat's feet), God told Moses not to count a child as a member of the tribe of Israel until he was a month old. That is (if you believe in the literal truth of the Bible) God talking to Moses and not someone's interpretation or sense of poesy.

Also read Numbers 5 and see in the test for an unfaithful wife isn't a description of an abortion conducted by the priests in the Temple.

Literally none of those verses address abortion. That's very dishonest for someone quoting the Scripture
That’s because the Bible doesn’t talk about abortion at all. Evangelicals have to stretch scripture to fit their new world view.

At least the Catholics can create doctrine through papal declarations. The evangelicals don’t have that fall back so they have to stretch language in the Bible to mean something other than what was plainly intended by the context.

And you tell me what this is from Numbers 5.

16 “‘The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the Lord. 17 Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water. 18 After the priest has had the woman stand before the Lord, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder-offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse. 19 Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you. 20 But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”— 21 here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—“may the Lord cause you to become a curse[b] among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. 22 May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.”

“‘Then the woman is to say, “Amen. So be it.”

23 “‘The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water. 24 He shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering will enter her. 25 The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the Lord and bring it to the altar. 26 The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial[c] offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water. 27 If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. 28 If, however, the woman has not made herself impure, but is clean, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children.

29 “‘This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband, 30 or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the Lord and is to apply this entire law to her. 31 The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.’”

I think it's hilarious that we have people who voted for Trump and yet get outraged by stuff like this. To be able to vote for Trump and then claim you still have "principles" is cognitive dissonance of the highest order. It's rather hard to take Trumpers seriously when they get on their moral and principle high horses over things like this and then still somehow, in some way, manage to rationalize voting for that black hole of principles, ethics, and morality known as Donald J. Trump. It's rather hard to take any of them seriously after that happens.

In 2000 I watched two executions with probably 100 other people. I was in the airport waiting for a flight back to the U.S. as it was broadcast live. Lots of people turned away or walked out of the waiting area. I stuck it out.

Debating Bible interpretation is often pointless because people can find and justify most anything they want....and everyone thinks their interpretation is the "right" one, generally because it aligns with their politics.

Biden issues pardons for Fauci, Milley and Jan. 6 Committee

The pardons shield some of Donald Trump’s biggest political foes from prosecution just hours before his inauguration.

“… Biden issued the pardons to former public health official Anthony Fauci and former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley. He also pardoned the members and staff of the House special committee that investigated the Jan. 6 insurrection as well as officers from Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Capitol Police who testified before the committee.

All of Monday’s pardon recipients have been verbally attacked by Trump, and many of his allies have called for them to face criminal charges. …”

“…
“These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions,” Biden said in a statement hours before Trump was to be sworn in.

“I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing.”

For now, Biden’s slate of pardons raises more questions than answers. It’s unclear whether any of the intended recipients expected them or will attempt to renounce them. Several members of the Jan. 6 committee said last week they didn’t want or need pardons because they did nothing wrong.

One recipient, former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn, said in a statement he was “eternally grateful” to Biden for the pardon.

“I wish this pardon weren’t necessary, but unfortunately, the political climate we are in now has made the need for one somewhat of a reality. I, like all of the other public servants, was just doing my job and upholding my oath, and I will always honor that,” he said.

Dunn had been part of the first group of officers to testify publicly before the select panel and had become a vocal booster of their work, actions that helped fuel an unsuccessful run for Congress and a stint as a campaign surrogate for Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. …”

“… Several committee staffers told POLITICO that they were blindsided by Biden’s announcement and still weighing whether to accept — or could even be sure they were included in the clemency announcement. Biden’s statement included no list of names or language describing the scope of the pardons.

Only Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), the former chair of the Jan. 6 committee, had previously indicated he would accept a pardon from Biden.

Milley said in a statement that he, too, would accept the pardon to avoid spending years “fighting those who unjustly might seek retribution for perceived slights.” …”
